I am Eric Bell, a writer of middle grade books, if the big red text didn’t give it away. Welcome!
I write middle grade, roughly intended for ages 8-12. My novels ALAN COLE IS NOT A COWARD and ALAN COLE DOESN’T DANCE are currently available from Katherine Tegen Books/HarperCollins wherever books are sold.
I do other writing-related things too, like run writing workshops. I also offer editing and coaching services, school visits, and classroom discussion questions for my books! Oh me oh my. If you don’t want to (or can’t) click these hyperlinks, you can navigate the menus at the top of the page. Or maybe you’d like to read about fanfiction I wrote when I was in elementary school? You can learn about that, and more, in my FAQ.
NEW: Check out KNoW How, a weekly writing workshop I offer! It’s a virtual writing workshop designed for those who have started on a children’s novel. Or you can check out KNoW: Kidlit Novel Workshop, which involves freewriting off writing prompts and is for anyone at any stage of writing for children and young adults.

Feel free to follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Goodreads, even though I don’t post cat gifs:
Also, I need to repeat “Eric Bell writer” again at some point on this page so you’ll be able to locate it via Google search. Sorry!
Also also wow, you’re still here! I promise there are more interesting things on other parts of this site. If you’d like to contact me, you can reach out at ericbellwriter[at]gmail[dot]com. Talk to you soon!
